Hello,

DIY enthusiast, but no real skills! Our fan oven stopped heating so I thought I would replace the heater element. When I have taken it apart, it looks as if part of the wiring may have come off. There is a clip on the right hand side with no wire coming from it. Will this be the issue rather than a faulty element?

If this is the case, how would I resolve this. There are no loose wires in view and the cooker doesn't want to budge easily.

Apologies for the dirty state of the oven! If I get it fixed I will clean it!

Thanks in advance for any help,

Graeme

Yup. Looks like you're right. If you can't retrieve the wire by fishing for it, you'll have to take the back off the oven, if possible. Ensuring the power is off at the wall switch of course.
