most crimping tools are good but id say (like jeremy) ratchet crimps are probably the easiest to use and there are an abundance of different makes from many different wholesalers

I have the same ones. Mine were about £13 and I wish I'd spent more - the jaws aren't symmetrical so if you don't position them spot on, the crimp will come off the wire.
Sometimes when using yellow crimps I find I have to turn the tool around and crimp it again in a different place.

There are some good pneumatic crimps availiable that have a swively head that do up to 500mm or there is a battery operated one by klauke out of a makita style 18v battery here Klauke Textron: EK60UNV. they really are the dogs for getting in anywhere. Also they do a cutting head for a really easy life. Also good for getting the offcuts chopped and into the back of the van unnoticed:)

It is quite annoying when your ratchet crimper does not crimp properly. I’ve been through a lot of pairs and finally found a decent one. It is made by LASER and can be purchased from:

CRIMPING PLIERS - RATCHET ChromeTrader
