As we know that for differential protection, CTs on transformer primary side(star connected) are connected in delta & CTs on transformer secondary winding (delta connecred) are connected in star to cancel 30deg phase shift because of star-delta connection.
Now what I want to ask is that do primary windings of CTs are always connected in star (regardless of how main transformer winding is connected) & its actually their secondary windings which are connected in star or delta??
