So came across some old aluminium T&E yesterday, the smaller stuff with only 3 strands in the live, 3 in neutral and single strand for CPC.
I cant remember its maximum current capability.
Its been used for running an immersion tank on a B16 MCB, about 10m from the dis board, mostly under floor boards.
Oh, and as an aside, the dis board was not fitted by an electrician, no sleeving on the cpc's, no labels of any kind and a bit of a mess.
(rented property, called to change the immersion switch which had been knocked and damaged)

There were two common sizes of imperial T+E with 3 strands, 3/.029 (1.3 sq mm) and 3/.036 (2.0 sq mm). I've never seen either in aluminium. Any chance of pics, or if you pull it out, sending it over for the collection?
