Current demand for 12v lighting

I would appreciate some advise re calculating current demand for 12v lighting. Do you need to apply a factor (such as 1.8 for fluorescent lighting) or can you just take the bulb wattage into consideration?

Hi Nick,

Just the bulb rating generally as on 12v you don't have start-up surges etc through control gear etc
