Looking to put in some dado style trunking for a few power circuits and some Ethernet sockets, ideally metal type from a fire/EMC point of view.

I had though of using the Marshall-Tufflex "System 130" (or maybe the bigger 170) steel system but wondered if the folks on here have any better suggestions? Or is this the dog's proverbials to use?

Use MK 3D trunking Mate, look it up in their Cat

That 3D dado is good, cheap, quick to install, the angles are adjustable too which is cool. Not metal though. We did use some 3 compartment plastic trunking that had metalised data compartments. I forget the brand, but it was really expensive.

I've not fitted metal dado/skirting trunking in over 10 years.

Try Cableduct I am pretty sure although not 100% we fitted some of this a fair few years back and they powder coated it to a specific light blue.

Thanks for the ideas. We probably don't need metal, but it might save us possible trouble later and there might be some conduit to be joined on and having metal just seems to tick all of the boxes (other than ease of installation, of course!).
