Like the name says, do they make a volt stick that can detect DC?

Have a look at this 381676 - Pen DMM with Non-Contact Voltage Detector
The normal Volt stick is triggered by the alternating voltage field so only works on AC. On DC the voltage field is static and so you MIGHT get an indication when moving the probe through the field. You can detect a loaded DC cable using a magnotometer but these are very expensive.

Up to 100V DC, OK I couldn’t feel it.
But the 120KV electrostatic systems made me cringe to switch them.
