DECENT socket tester

had a metrel and a kewtech
kewtech now doesnt work atall completley dead metrel neons work but no audio , pretty new aswell

any good makes out ?

I have had a Megger one for around 10 years, never had a prob with it.

i got a fluke SM300 with the RCD test button and earth volts button. excellent bit of kit about £25.

martindale....and a socket n see...both spot on...

I'm ashamed to say I got mine from the big orange shed......although I think it's a rebadged Martindale. Mind you, works well for the odd time I use it. I use it to test the sockets themselves, not the wiring feeding them!

the house we had was on the corner at the top end of the town...
just up from the vaults....

lovely little town on the face of it....but you just scratch beneath the surface....lol..
