I`m pro Texecom......2 good versions , Veritas excel, excellent 8 zone with area text, or premier if you need full all dancing system upto 640 zones
Funny, I am looking one myself. Just a basic one. 3 pir's and a couple of door contacts. So far I've only purchased the cable! Lol. I'm running a 6 core to each piece of equipment and doing the connections at the panel. Don't know what to go for so will keep an eye on this thread.
i'd be wary of some of this alarm cable that's available these days. i've seen thicker spider web. it's so thin, it's pathetic.
are the texecom veritas plus anygood or just get the premier range
Your choice is dependent on what size system you need and whether you need the functions of the premier panels for the small domestic systems I use the Veritas Excel and had no problems
Its 4 bedroom detatched house having 1 pir on landing 4 downstairs and 3 door contacts.
A customer of mine previous had a texecom that had the function to text your mobile when alarms activated. I want simialar system.
