Hello all, doing rewire at the moment and i have pit underfloor heating on dedicated ring to save cable. No reason why not right? Conductors in parallel and all that. Not using fcu's just using stat as DP isolator. 7 zones/stats. Design current ok with Ref method B. Am I doing the right thing?!?!

I heard a vicious rumour u can only use rfc's with sockets.

I can easily split it into 2x20a radials.

Thanks all.

You can use BS1363 accessories (e.g SFCU) in a ring final circuit. Not sure exactly what you are using here.
This is not conductors in parallel unless the conductors take the same route and are the same length.
It is a ring final circuit and should be tested as such.

Generally unless the layout is just so you are unlikely to save much cable, but it should be OK in general, albeit not very conventional.
