The dewalt has 2 13 amp sockets on it?I've had the DAB/FM one for a few months and what I've noticed is if you plug it in to charge and then use the search function on the radio it often can't tune into any stations. Unplug and try again and it's ok - so then plug in again.
Frustrating, but that said, the 2 x 13a sockets are dead handy, as are the USB to charge my phone and the jack to plug in my iPod.

Going to put an iec plug on it to make lead a bit beefier
Have you seen the shoestring they call the charging cable.I use the sockets mainly for charging my MFT and cordless drill so hardly a heavy load!
