di i have to open a client account?

hi all,
do i have to open a client account or is there another account i can have HSBC have stoppped doing these and wont open one for me, they say its for firms like solicitors hold the client money, they have been advised not to open them for PV as its not the right tyoe of account, any ideas?

No u just need a sep account for deposits! Ie to keep real happy once job done u move it to main account !!but in this madness with clients paying me up front its all in one account so i can pay for gear (if it ever turns up)

You should be able to set one up quickly online - didn't take us long. We still have an audit trail to show it's gone into the account but like Powervan ours is going out as quickly as it's coming in - sometimes quicker!
