Greetings.

Does anyone have any recommendations for dimmable under cupboard lights?

The one's the guy has at the moment are those little round one's that take G4 halogen bulbs but he is moaning about the heat they give off.

I have had a look at LED strips but not sure if they are dimmable and you can get G4 LED replacement bulbs but the lady at LED hut said they were not dimmable.

So that's my question, does anyone have any experience of under cupboard lights that are dimmable but not halogen?

Has anyone come across LED strip lights that are dimmable?

Thanks.

The DCJolly MD is a revolutionary multi voltage power supply which allows LEDs to be dimmed from a regular dimmer.

Resistive Load Dimmable LED Driver White Multi Wattage / Multi Voltage - Mr RESISTOR

DC Jolly, I like the name, now whether it works OK is another matter.

Apparently this has to work in conjunction with a low wattage dimmer and can be used to dim under cupboard LED strips but how successful it is I don't know.

I use this website, their LED strips are dimmable:

intoled

We used their strips on a kitchen island, and were very very good, and good value. Not cheap, but they work and that is what you want with LEDs!

Phew, £45 for a dimmable driver and £32 a metre for the LED strips, there has to be a cheaper way of doing it than this.
