Discuss Dimming lights is there a problem in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Over loaded conductors !
Loose/dirty connections !
Local grid over loaded !

Check the obvious things first like loose and/or heat damaged plugs sockets,
Signs of heat damage on main panel.
If you are confident enough, pull the outlet off the wall,
And check the wiring behind for any loose/ burning.

Then call an electrician to check things out properly.
Otherwise the end result could be a fire !
