Discuss Distress alarm? in the Security Alarms, Door Entry and CCTV (Public) area at ElectriciansForums.net

And if the supply to the lighting circuit fails, and the poor soul's stuck in the dark on the lavy, the call system won't work????????

(of course, there may well be an EM light present :chinese:)

Regards.

Wont work on an emergency light battery as it will have a 230V input , so Bobs not your auntie. Most Disabled toilet alarms have a small battery back-up specifically to negate the problem. So yes feed from permanent light via rcd. Dont forget to label the distribution board DTAs and IR tests dont mix.

You've missed the point Taffy (though good result against France!). Wasn't suggesting that the supply be taken from the EML fitting/supply:dizzy2:
Regards.
