Hi

I'm looking at doing a pre-application for a 4kWp system to Western Power (playing safe as I hear they are starting to bit a bit more rigid with G83) and am wondering if anyone has got any experience of this and ideas as to how long it is likely to take?

Thanks

Mike

I generally just fill in the application form, knock up a schematic and email it off to the central address '[email protected]'. It then gets allocated to the appropriate local office. I do offer to do it as a service for the customer as I can get the application underway in under an hour after they give the go ahead and I will have prepared a schematic already as part of the quote. It has been a critical path activity for most of my installs. You could phone them if you have the direct numbers otherwise there are layers to get through. But to make a formal decision they will need the paperwork.

Bruce
