so I'm on a Eicr for a customer with a load of faults, now the customer had some jobs done by a conservatory company and a plumbers fitting a bathroom suite. Where he put a bathroom mirrored LIGHT on 2.5 and not fused down and a alarm system.

Reminds me of an eicr I did at local pub where their fairy lights were plugged into a metal clad socket screwed to a wooden fencepost..... the socket was inside a metal biscuit tin. Not even bonded!

Raiding the customers recycle bin for a “suitable” joint box.

I’m missing a 1 way switch.... have a look for a paper clip..I’ve got tape!
 
I suppose you can take recycling just too far...
Guilty ,heating a corner yogurt pot to make white styrene sheet rolled with a wine bottle on wood bread board --
The things I get up to with a gas hob ,when the Mrs isn't about.
(Those McDonalds frugality adds have lot to answer for -Competitive !)
 
Bought a proper rolling pin, made of wood, recently...frankly, a waste of money!
I'm with you static zap...a bottle of Merlot is far better!
