Evening all. So got a job coming up; adding new circuit to exsiting DB. When I do my very, do I just need to do it for new circuits added, or do I need to list all circuits on the very even though I’m only adding new one? .

On your electrical installation cert ,you can mark all the existing circuits ,circuit not tested and only detail the new circuit
But you would need to update the circuit chart or identify the circuit on the Db

Don't forget to state that you have checked that the maximum demand hasn't been exceeded., Earthing and bonding are in place, as appropriate.

No need to list all of the circuits not worked on, that could result in a ridiculously big certificate just fir s couple of new circuits.

Also, depending on set-up,ensure you do any testing or inspecting, which prevents issues on those existing circuits, impacting upon the addition(s).
You can mitigate to some extent, with your terms paperwork, but that will not stop the phone ringing...

When you put the sticker on saying this installation was inspected at x date and should be checked in x years time, it should also state 'only for circuits x and y'. (hope that makes sense!).
