Live conductors in earth din terminal?!
Your eyesight must be much better than mine!

Is there any way to zoom in on the posted images? They all seem to be much smaller than one would expect of the multi-megapixel cameras that are the norm today, but clicking on them just shows it same size in a dedicated window.

If you are viewing on a phone then you can zoom in by using two fingers and moving them apart.

Yes, but then the text becomes stupidly large and I have to reset zoom afterwards.
Right clicking with the image displayed and "open image in new tab" (depending on browser) will give you the original size image, but that isn't always much bigger - you can at least zoom on that page without mucking up the text.

I assume it's to do with whether the image was inserted as 'thumbnail' or 'full image' originally

I resize all the images I post to about 1024x768 so they are not excessively large or take ages to load. I guess it's not such a problem now with fast internet.

Even though the crimp lug is ----ed it is probably quite tight but whether the conductor into the terminal is, debatable as looks like a side cutter job.
