I do the Western Union and only add solder when the wiring goes inside appliances, there's almost no regulation on electrical work where I live so most self-proclaimed "electricians" use random wires and do simple twist splices and cover it with tape.Come now, lets do it properly:

Jesus .....If I was the owner, I would go nutsWent to look at a place this morning to do a site visit for a quote as they want a EV Charge Point. They had solar installed about 5 weeks ago. This is how the installers left it. Owner didn’t see the problem.

As it happens, I was removing it anyway and replacing with bigger cable that is correctly glanded and bondedUnder certain fault conditions, the current flowing through those few strands of steel could be sufficient to heat them to a dangerous level. Not acceptable.
