Discuss Does anyone know how to reset a set of megger mft 1721 at all please? It’s got an error code of 76 :/ in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

@Jacobcumbria, there's a guy at Megger I used to contact, when I had problems with my 1730. He's very knowledgeable about their MFT's. I can PM you his email address (if he's still with them). But give Megger a ring in the first instance.

The manual isn't very helpfull;
page 37, https://instrotech.com/pub/media/manuals/manMEGMFT1701.pdf

You could try Restore Factory settings page 36

You would think they'd make a list of error codes and fixes publically avaliable, if they say such a document doesn't exist I'd call BS as someone somewhere wrote the operating code for the units and as such must have come up with the error codes and how they are triggered.

Even if not publically avaliable you'd think repair partners have them.

Theres obviously a few £ signs involved in the answer somewhere.
