Hi! New member here, nice to meet you all.
Quick background story.
I started work leaving school in 1995 as an electricians mate, 21 years later I'm still only an electricians mate. I've worked my way through a few companies and earned myself some excellent hourly rates of pay.
The work has mostly been mostly Commercial shopfitting working away from home. Also a little bit of office fit outs, industrial, domestic and work with fire alarms and data cabling. I've ran quite large jobs in charge of many electricians at times and I have gained great respect from my boss and people I work with. I never got round to becoming qualified quite simply because I've been quite lucky I've not needed to but now is the time.
Now my questions are, what is the quickest way for me to become a qualified electrician still working full time?
Does my experience mean anything towards a qualification?
Who would be the best person/organisation to approach for the information I'm looking for?
Thanks for taking the time to read and help. Looking forward to being part of the Forum.
Cheers guys,
Steve.
