Hi,

I have recently installed a Ring Pro Doorbell. It has come with a transformer which is going to be connected to the lighting circuit as the CU is too far away.

My question is, does it need a Fused Switch on the supply or can it be powered straight from the lighting circuit?

Thanks

Personally I would put a fused switch next to it so you have a point of local isolation.
