Hi All,Just a question regarding domestic stuff. Can I legally re-wire my house if I complete a EAL Domestic Installers course or do I still have to have a visit from my local BCO???
Hope you pass comment on this Shakey,as you're the man in the know regarding EAL stuff!!

Grae is correct

The EAL course, especially if combined with your regs, turns you into a category 2 person in the Approved Documnt to Part P

Which means you are qualified to do the work, which you must pre-notify to the LABC, and after inspecting and testing, send them a copy of your BS7671 certs
