Door entry system with door release

What systems can people recommend? I am doing a rewire and I have relatively little experience with recommending these systems to customers. I am after a video door entry system with door release (yale lock). preferably Cat 5 only ( plasterers have already prepped the wall and I have only got a cat 5 in). Would be nice if the camera was colour, but I get the impression the client is only looking to spend around £3 - £400. Cheers guys

when I do entryphone systems I tend to use Videx equipment, and doorentry direct are well priced (based in west london)

I have only installed normal entry phones not video entry phones.

I am the same mate, I generally install videx and I have never had a problem, thing is though, they are quite dear with cameras (think I was quoted about £600) and it is a bit more than he wanted to spend... thanks for the reply

The camera and monitor with a entryphone system will tend to be low resolution

however there are video kit on for around the £250+vat

Just finished an install using the Stanley GDX stuff.Had no problems and would recommend !

Not too sure as I don't do the buying.Pretty reasonable i think.Google - Stanley security products GDX. The one i installed never had Video but i think they do one with.You send the the numbers you want on the front door panel and they bezel them in
