Dont know if such courses exist, perhaps a manufacturer has a course relevant to their specific product.

Most systems I have fitted, have been fairly streightforward and just figured it out for myself. If you get stuck, ring the manufactures tech department.

The key to it is using the correct cable with the right number of cores in, with a few spares !

VEry much system specific are you talking residential door entry (multiple flats etc?) or commercial door entry with RFID fobs etc?

there is a C&G in this, its 1859, and you take seperate modules to cover Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, & Advanced Intruder Alarms

Problem is, the only place i know that does it a training centre for armed forces people leaving for civvy street

I did the Access Control and CCTV and they were pretty good, but like the lads above said, you are better focussing on a particular systems

I went down to Paxton's in Brighton to do their access control systems, so naturally i would now pick them as i am familiar with them

thanks for your replies no i am just doing door entry with all types of systems entrotec pac videx etc i would just like some help really and just wondered if there was a course for it as i do service calls atm and i am learning at the moment but just would like to no more

You will need to go to each manufacturer in turn and do their course.
