Double insulated down lights cpc

whats classes as the correct method of terminating an earth cable when you have double insulated fittings?

You can see on the picture I can’t get a wage inside nor a normal connector block it’s just too tight.

I have seen in the past the cpc being bent over and also snipped off which isn’t recommend just wanted to know the correct way of termination.

Use a 2 core flex to the light then install a Junction box or equivalent onto the cable to join to the flex.

Looks like there are two sets of terminals, the other set under the cover on the left.
Feed in and feed out to the next fitting.
Really should have been made with an earth terminal.

No it can be used in any situation that it is suitable for, this being one of them.

2 core from transformer to fitting and struggle to get the in out feeds into the other end of the transformer.

If that is a 230v fitting, the doc needs to continuous from the last light back to the cu

it's difficult,personally snip it off.
Can't really see a problem,it's connected at other end.

If it’s one of many, the CPC needs to continue to the next fitting.
Snipping off would not be an option.
Easiest solution, is to trim back the cable sheath so the CPC can be connected outside of the enclosure.

Could have found some bigger green/yellow sleeving .
Red crimp would fit down the side of the terminal block?

There is no bs number or make or model on the bottom. Is it on the side?

And how would it be connected to the Earthing arrangement if there is more than one luminaire?

Awful design to not include a earth terminal.

But they are silly cheap.........

Are you being serious, leave it unenclosed and taped to the sheath. There is a difference between over thought and no thought.
