Its me:),
Hi all went to a job today to do a board change, did all the tests first everything spot on:confused:,so i changed the board then one side of the RCD kept tripping at 5 minute intervals traced it back to 5 double pole socket fronts.Changed them all to new single pole fronts job sorted. My question is has any of your more experienced guys come across this before.my reasoning was the sockets fronts were old so one of them was causing an unbalance between live & nuetral.does this make sense of am i just talking ********.cheers in advance

My first explanation would be tracking to earth, with them being old. Might be worth testing them if you've still got the old sockets !
