Hi Guys,

Mind has drawn a complete blank I've been out of electrics for quite a while now and i'm going to be putting some Ceiling Downlights in my bedroom and was just wondering on the wiring;

Would the attached diagram be correct?

I have a ceiling rose as my main light, So if I was to loop the Common to the next switch that would be providing the feed and then use the neutral in L1 mark with brown tape as a switch live and then take that to the first spotlight and then carry it along to the remainders, Is that correct?

You are leaving the center light where it is then?

Yeah the light will be staying where it is I've just bought the Philips Hue GU10 bulbs so will mostly just be using the spotlights and controlling via phone, Was just curious if I needed to take another cable from the Loop in the centre light to the Live on the spotlight or if that's effectively what looping the commons are doing :).

scratch that diagram and think it through.

Twin and Earth from existing center light to switch position, twin and Earth from center light to first new light, if you have a loop in loop out and a switch pair at the center light already doing it this way would mean 5 twin and Earths at the center light, could get a bit messy

time for a line products egg and wagos then.
