If a domestic installation has 16mm tails from the consumer unit,lets say old 6way with 60amp double pole switch, and cut out 25mm tails100amp,customer does not want to upgrade fuse board and tails.do you think the dno would downgrade cut out?
 
Why do you want to change them?
 
Have you actually done any loading calcs or are you just making blind assumptions based on the (incorrect) pretty pics in the OSG?
