Oooh. Nice shot!

Was there a bang?

It can be repaired with crimps and heat sleeving and a bit of replastering afterwards, or maybe fit a new socket there if it’s any use??

Depending on how it’s wired, the damaged leg could be cut out and circuit reconfigured so the drop is a spur off the ring…. Or a new cable pulled in behind the capping?

No bang what so ever casually went to sit down and do my work and bam no power in any socket then I realised why this screw had some resistance going in haha, New cable will require lifting boards which I suppose is possible which ever is safer and easier I will opt for.

I personally will always attempt to replace the damaged cable from the last point if that makes sense , failing that then my very last resort would be to chop out the capping and make a join in the cable
