I have only just recently joined this site and this is my first post I could do with a little help or at least a nudge in the right direction with a problem I have.
I've been asked by a client to install lighting to their driveway. They want them to be illuminated when their automatic gates open and then stay on for about 5 mins after they close. Also they want a passive installing above the main door to turn on the lights as well.
There are 2 230v lighting circuits each taking roughly 3A, 2 drive through gates that I can get a 230v or 12v signal from and a pedestrian gate with only a 12v signal.
I was thinking of building a panel for it, using relays and some kind of timers for the over run. But don't know the best way to go about it, as I don't usually do this sort of thing. (I do some controls work but mainly heating).
If anybody could hep it would be much appreciated.
