Bit stuck here guys,

I'm looking for an earth rod inspection pit that I can mount/sink neatly into a paving slab that isn't going to stick out like a sore thumb in my customers patio. Any ideas? I can't seem to find one anywhere that isnt rounded at the edges and bevveled into the pit. A nice square jobbie would do me nicely!

Can't do rounded edges. I've been browsing and I think I'm gonna try making one up out of some drainage components. I'd normally use the Furse as they do the job just great, but just not this time.

We've use irrigation valve boxes in the past, they happened to be suitable dimensions, made from cast iron and rated for road use.

Really, if this earth rod is being installed under a sealed paving slab installation of some width, then i'd be drilling holes in the lid to allow rainwater access to the rod. I've seen so many rod installations positioned under concrete and the like, and seen the effects of the surrounding ground drying out, leaving at least a metre or more of a rod doing nothing....

It's only time time i've seen initial good Ra values ''increase'' rather than decreasing!!
