Hi all,

I am an amateur and have been checking EF measurements around my house. The computer seems quite a large source and I'd like to reduce my exposure.

Can a keyboard/mouse be earthed/grounded with a contact wire on the item running to Earth on socket/radiator?

I thought of using an earthing mat under the keyboard, but running a discreet wire from a contact point to Earth may be a better solution at work!

Many thanks in advance :)

Do you use WiFi for your internet on your PC? That's probably the source of your high EMF readings.

There is no proof that the regular EMF levels you are subjected to on a day to day basis from WiFi, Mobile phones, microwaves etc are harmful.

If you are having migraines or any of the other symptoms that people often attribute to EMF exposure I would go and see you doctor, the problem lies elsewhere.

The electrical fields given off by things around you will be far higher than anything emitted by a keyboard. Things like mains wiring, pylons, underground cables, but especially mobile phones, cell towers and WiFi routers.

There's no avoiding things like this these days unless you make your house out of lead, which I believe the fourth little piggy is doing in the forthcoming follow up story.

had same problem. after a few hours and copious amounts of Jack Daniels, I came up with the solution. here's me in my lab.

and i get brilliant 4g reception on my mobile.

Just remember if you have PME and you cover the outside of your house or windows in tin foil you must install an earth rod as you can not export the PME outside without a suitable sized earth.
