EICR Limitations

We can only hope that NICEIC "bods" are reading this forum, and get the gist that so many people have lost confidence in them.

I wouldnt mind but only 10 years ago the nic were well respected in the industry and were invaluble in getting commercial contracts.
Fast forward to today and there just another scam on the part p bandwagon.

Just had a meeting today with Peter Lee Williams, NICEIC assessor for my promotion to QS.
amongst other things he said that one of the limitations for eicr's should be that portable appliances have not been tested.
just wondering what everyone's thoughts are. I thought it was unnecessary.

Amazing, did you ask him to show you where on the EICR the portable appliance test results would normally be recorded?
