EICR. Quals?

What quals do you need to carry out an EICR?


Got a local so called spark with no quals whatsoever nicking work off me by sticking in stupidly low price Grrr

all you need is to be competent. qualifications like 2391 are 1 way of proving competence, but not essential. be good if you could get a look at 1 of his certs.

you are always going to get that, it happens here all the time, lots of "sparks" here, most not registered carrying out work they should not be, I did 5 X EICR's on 1 bed flats last week, the landlady had been had over by two blokes who could not give certs's

Boils my blood that, Lland! I have learned that all we can offer is our guidance, whether they chose to listen is another thing! Usually the phone rings a few days later taking the guidance offer after some tool had left in a hurry when things got a little tough!
