Main switch 160a bs88fuses, 35mm tails feeding busbar chamber with switch fuses ontop feeding distribution boards. A c2 has been given to undersized main tails. I thought that because the tails are only about 400mm long from switch into busbar that it was ok? Thoughts?

according to table 6D1 ( red osg) ccc if tails are ref. method F ,and spaced, the ccc of 35mm is 161A - 181A, so can't see a problem as In<Iz.

The main switch is bolted under the busbar so reference method is just enclosed. 110a but I'm sure I have come across this before were it's acceptable as it's less than 3 meters

Think the OP may be worried about the lack of protection of the tails from the BB to the SF the 3mtr ruling that concerns most people, they are not the same size as the cables feeding the BB Chamber, forgot to add that bit hence the edit

The cutout is 100a fuses, 25mm tails to main switch, then 160a fuses 35mm tails to busbar. Apparently the 35mm is undersized

So down stream its a 100 amp fuse with a 160 amp fuse upstream? How can the tails be undersized?

Also how can the person who did the EICR be deemed competant if thats the case?

100amp cutout 25m tails, your end oversized. LOL I can't see an problem.
