ELECSA Certification Scheme Elecsa Assessment

Hi Guys

I have an Elecsa assessment next Wednesday and was just looking for any advice/experience on what to expect.

I have worked as an electrician for a number of years but have only just set up as a sole trader, so I have not really completed major works yet and can't really take the assessor to any passed jobs.

I am planning on completing a consumer unit change (upgrade from 16th type board to dual rcd) and maybe a minor job such as an outside socket install. Will this be sufficient?

I think I have all the relevant documentation covered

Have you received the "welcome" pack from Elecsa? Have you read it? Have you used the check list included?

They can be a bit ---- regarding the regs books, policy docs and WILL want to see copies of quotes/estimates you send to clients.

I second this, I gave mine up this year as long as all the paper work is in place that's all he is really interested in on a positive note its a good feeling when you get accepted but I do think the whole thing is abit of a waste of money!! but good luck

If you get ray you will be fine,I'm not with ELECSA but had him for my ECA inspection think he is from derby.

I wouldn't offer any of them anything, my attitude is, just do your job and go. I don't suck up to anyone for anything and that don't mean I'm rude or anything just blunt and straight with people.
