Just got a letter from ELECSA , their price is going up from £39 a month to £41 a month about £490 per year now. I thought they might have come down with Stroma being only £280.

Tell them you are jumping ship to Stroma and see if their price changes. If not, jump ship.

But gas plumber can make a fortune. I was doing some work in a blokes kitchen. He got a Gas Safe bloke in to fit his hob. Few bits & bobs, hours work. £160 thanks!

Incidentally, comparing the other schemes (domestic, inc vat one off payment);

Napit £516, NICEIC £516, Benchmark £480, Blue Flame?? £?, BESCA depends on turnover. Elecsa £516.

Wonder how long Stroma is going to keep its price down?

A gas fitter charged 160 for a hob and an electrician charged 2500-3500 for a new cu.

I wonder how they compare with the average prices we charge.
