Hi we are looking to put an electric fire in our lounge instead of having work done to put a gas fire in, we currently have 1 raditor in the room

Please could anyone tell me what electric fire would i buy that would be as good as a gas fire ie having the same or similar output of heat The fire would be a feature in the room so would be putting the fire in a surround

any advice would be appreciated
