Hi colleagues

A friend of mine has purchased this electric hob for his kitchen.

It shows on the spec that it has to be hard wired by a spark.

So after calculating the amperage (5400÷230), I'm getting 23.4amps.

Will diversity have to be applied just for a single hob? Or is it only for a cooker which includes 4 or more hobs, oven and grill?

Any help will be appreciated.

A quick search find a copy of its manual on-line, they say:

"This appliance must be wired into a 30 A double pole switched fused spur outlet, having 3 mm contact separation and placed in an easily accessible position adjacent to the appliance. It should not be located above the appliance and no more than 1.25m away from it."

Then they go on to say to use "H05 RRF 3 core x 6 mm" cable but I would be pretty sure the 07 rating is fine, for example:
As you say, looking at a bit of a delay just now...

Edited to add, found it here:
Just noticed its not exactly the same part number, so wise to double-check when you do get it. Odd that Baumatic's own service site is not listing that model!
