Excel spreadsheet. Simple and easy.

Excel as Lee said .. would Excel at such a job, just need to know all the areas you want

Excel can be a Mini Programming Lang, and very nice to work with.. once had to make a complex time sheet for a year that lets you take hours from one week and send it to another .. came in at 1.44MB

Easiest one ive done was a Spread sheet for a guy who bet on the gee gees, want to see how much he won and lost.
I had to learn some of the wordings for that .. Each way and all that stuff..he did give me a tip for a thank you but i dont gamble on such a thing.

2.5mm T&E QTY ____ /m Cost £____ =QTY*£
1.5mm T&E QTY ____/m Cost £____ =QTY*£

=Sum (QTY*£)
all tick boxes that you can tick or type in a value and can change due to cost. and you could have a friendly print format .. i think.

Thanks, i currently use spreadsheet and it does work but im sure theres something out there !!

i suppose its a hard thing to make due to the many different types and makes of materials trays trunking uni strut down to a MCB or a 6mm penny washer..

estimating bores the life out of me!!

Sage maybe and any thing you use comes under the products, I don't know if it can make a invoice, but I think it can do all you want but a lot programming and no easy fix. For software like that I would want w lot of money for such a stream line program

As you've mentioned before Lee, you have set prices per point? Do you work this out through excel? Do you ever need to work out a different price per point if say it's concrete walls/stud/straw (few posts about this lately so thought I'd be the smart ar5e):sailor:
