Electrical Estimation Course?

Hi there
I was just wondering whether there are any types of electrical estimation courses available?

I am currently working at a company doing CAD and have the opportunity to learn to do electrical estimating alongside someone, but I do not understand a lot of what is needed or what things are. However I cannot find a course relevant to this. I have never worked on site and have no prior knowledge of electrical installation.
I started on a distance course of basic electrical installation but I think the course providers have gone bust as no one can get hold of them.

I am looking for another course to do that would give me the basic knowledge so I can understand what I will be estimating or an electrical estimation course, if there is one.

I don't think an electrical course on it's own would give you sufficient knowledge to go head long into estimating. Materials take off is the easy part it is getting the how long to install bit right. Yes you could use book times but every install is different and throws up different problems to work around and this is where a good estimator earns his keep. So some building & site knowledge is also needed IMO
