Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer​

Location: South Wales, Wales​

Salary: £23000 - £25000/annum​

Description:

A well respected food manufacturing company located in the South Wales area is seeking an Electrical Maintenance engineer to work at their site. They have a strong order book for the foreseeable future with growth of the company expected to coincide with growth in sales.The main purpose of the role is to co-ordinate corrective and preventative maintenance of plant machinery and their associated services and the position will report into a line supervisor.Main Duties• To carry out and record corrective maintenance on plant machinery and services quickly and efficiently so as to cause the least amount of machinery downtime.• To carry out and record planned maintenance on plant machinery and services as scheduled by the Engineering Department.• To ensure fault logs are kept up to date and any outstanding faults are handed over to the next shift.• To ensure production are made aware when work has been completed on any machinery / services.• To ensure all machinery and services are in working order and ready for production after maintenance periods.• To be available / contactable outside of normal working hours if a major malfunction / breakdown occurs that may require specific skills to resolve.Skills / Experience• Apprentice trained (Electrical)• Professional experience from within a Food / Drink / Packaging / FMCG industry• PPM / TPM• Knowledge of motors / drives etc• Electrical drawings• Measurement equipmentThe ideal candidate would be an electrical apprentice trained maintenance engineer who has a minimum of 2 years experience working in a food, drink or packaging type company. If however you have not worked directly in those types of companies and have all other skills you should still consider applying as your skills and experience may be transferable.This company is offering an excellent remuneration package dependant upon skill level and experience with a basic salary between £23000 and £25000 plus additional company benefits.Immediate start is available for this position.Suitable applicants should apply via the appropriate link
