Hello.
So I bought (my first) house two years ago. The basement is not finished and I rarely use it. I bought a freezer for the basement and thought it did not work because, I just discovered it, everytime I turn off the light switch it shuts off the electric outlet too!!! I would like that the outlet always have power even when I turn the switch off...
I'm uploading a drawing that shows the connections. I would like to know what wires do I disconnect from and reconnect with in the junction box so the switch only turns off the light but not the electrical outlet. I'm guessing only one wire has to be connected in another way but want to be sure.
The numbers are for how many wires are connected together and letters A, B, C to identify the connections. Of course you understood that the yellow lines are the white wires.
Thank you.
