HI all,

im currently self employed doing domestic and commercial work. I have done my 17th edition and part p im about to take the 2391 i&t in december i want to gain more qualifications the 2330 seems to be booked up or going to cost a small forune so i was just wondering what course to get on next any one done the 2391 design course or any other course surgestions would be very appreciated. Thanks

You would need to complete all the standard electrical course's first before moving onto other studying area's.

The choice is yours really. You can continue studying i.e. proceed to complete an HNC, HND, Degree or you could look at more specialist area's such as lighting, PLC's etc.

It depends on what you want to do with your working career?

I have personally gained more or less all the C&G certs but I am not interested in studying for an HNC, HND, or Degree to learn how to 'earth Blackpool Pier' because I know I will never be working on it.

If I thought that gaining an HNC, HND or Degree would earn me considerably more money then I would consider it. But I have my own company and that creates a living with out them.

Your call, but just remember that at some point you will need to pay for all the training you have done and start to earn some money. Best training you can have is gaining experience.
