British Standards Approved. BSA. Not an electrical symbol so much as a logo for British Standards. The ironic fact about British Standards is that they are so numerous and technical and expensive they are not accessible to those who need them the most. Such as us electricians. BS7671 is replete with hundreds of BS, but the chance of reading them all is extremely remote. Therefore we cannot easily comply with BS7871. We need the fire standards but they cost around £1k to buy. When you do buy them they update them every couple of weeks so you need to buy them every fortnight to keep up with them, as with BS7671. Well ok slightly over exaggerated in order to illustrate a point!

If your registered with the BSI you should be able to access the latest updates on line.

Not sure what it refers to. If you really need to know I would maybe contact the manufacturer.

I don’t think they are electrical symbols, all the info you need to know is written above those strange symbols

No. They're not electrical symbols. As above, one is the BS kite mark

Don't think the OP came back to us. The job is showing that it's got a new reply though for some reason.
