A friend of mine just came back from America and I asked him to bring me back something.
He picked up this electricians screwdriver for $6 in an electrical hardware store.
I notice it is non insulated but the packaging was marked as an 'electricians 6 in 1 screwdriver'

Non insulated tools seem perfectly acceptable in America ?

I would upload a photo but it appears I can not due to server issues ?

from watching a few US youtube videos, it seems common over there to rely on non-vde tools. maybe it's because they can make them from a bit of a tree and a hammered nail.

It is a sham that we can no longer attach pictures to posts.
This screwdriver is quite nice considering it only cost $6 (about a fiver).
It has 2 slotted ends and 2 Philips end which you can swap round in the handle. Klein make a few versions but are more than twice the price.
Its made by a company called ACE

If you're referring to the new T&Cs, don't read them (or forget them) :p
