Hi there,

i'm hoping someone can help...I have a potential job where there is 1 large car park with 2 floors already have many lights out and get damaged by ranger rover aerials and wear and tear, have emergency lights by exits but half don't work due to the power being snipped and the source being lost somewhere where new work has gone on over the years and not possible to trace.
I was wondering what the regs are on underground car parks and how many lights are needed for the general area of flooring?

cheers

Ask the client for their FRA then check this out.
Check the BS & check the CIBSE SLL documents.
What is the total environment?
Whose car park is it?
What does it serve?
How many spaces?
How many vehicle exits?
How many pedestrian exits?
How many external fire escapes?

More Q to follow once we have the answers to these.
