Hi all,

I am currently installing emergency lighting in a pub and was wondering if i am right in thinking that escape route signs/lights need to be maintained emergency lights as opposed to non-maintained lights.

I would be grateful for any help with this matter.

Thanks in advance

Dan

not certain, but i would agree with you that they should be maintained.

If you are designing and installing Em lighting then you must have the relevant parts of BS5266 to hand to ensure that you comply.
Also you must comply with your clients FRA.
Both are required for compliance with statute law.
